City Utilities

The City of Sully provides service for water, sewer, garbage and recycling.

Here are a few things you might want to know about your utility service:

Bills for city provided utilities are mailed quarterly at the end of March, June, September and December and are payable by the end of the next month.
Bills not paid by the due date will be considered delinquent, a penalty added and disconnection proceedings are started.
A deposit of $75 for utility service will be required before service is connected.
Garbage and recycling pickup is done curbside on Friday of each week.
Yard waste may be burned, but keep your neighbor’s comfort and the weather conditions in mind when doing so.
DO NOT burn yard waste in the streets.
Limbs and brush may be bundled and will be picked up by calling the Public Works Department.

Recycling made simple and easy—designate a trash/recycling area in your home. By placing both containers side by side it becomes just as easy to recycle as it does to get rid of your trash. Almost all of your trash is recyclable, by just putting it into the proper container.

Trash is collected each Friday. The fee for trash service is $8.50 per month. This fee will apply even if trash service is not used. Curbside trash collection is provided to all single-family, duplex and multi-family residential units as long as the dwelling does not receive trash service from a dumpster or other common collection container.

Each customer shall pay sewer service charges in the amount of $33.00 base rate per quarter plus a service charge based upon the amount of water consumed. The base rate applies whether or not there is any water usage. Quarterly service charge based on usage: $3.25 per 1,000 gallons

Each customer shall pay water service charges in the amount of $21.00 base rate access fee per quarter plus a usage fee based upon actual usage of water. The base rate access fee applies whether or not there is any actual water usage.
