The Coffee Cup Cafe in Sully, owned by Darin and Robin Morvan, was named as one of the top ten places in the United States to eat pie by USA Today.

An article in USA Today on Friday, Jan. 21, 2010, featured Ed Levine's samplings of pie across the nation in honor of National Pie Day. Levine is founder of www.seriouseats.com, a website devoted to the pleasure, culture, and business of food. Coffee Cup Cafe was seventh on his list. Levine discovered the Coffee Cup Cafe on the town square when he was a student at nearby Grinnell College. He calls it a country cafe that happens to make really good pies. "They are just sort of homey, farm-style pies. They do a banana cream pie that's really, really good."
