The Pella Christian High School girls basketball team finished the season as Class 2A state runner up, losing to Western Christian of Hull, 67-57 on Mar. 2. The Eagles, ranked 15th at the end of the regular season, and the Wolfpack, ranked fifth, both pulled off upsets to place themselves in the final game of the state tournament. The team is coached by Kevin Van Maanen of Sully and local players are Sami Veenstra and Tessa Howerzyl.
