Plan to celebrate Lynnville with food, fun, and family-friendly entertainment at Lynnville Days June 16-17. “Brighten Up Lynnville” is the theme for the celebration in downtown Lynnville. The schedule of events includes:

Saturday, June 16

  • 8-10 a.m. free donuts and juice by the Lynnville Chamber in front of city hall
  • 8 a.m.-noon, open house at Lynnville businesses, stop by each business to sign up for door prizes and freebies
  • 8 a.m.-noon Cutie Contest, vote for the cutest Lynnville baby at city hall.
  • 9 a.m. storytime and kids craft at Lynnville Library for ages through first grade.
  • 9 a.m.-1 p.m. car show in First State Bank parking lot
  • 9 a.m.-1 p.m. kids’ games, bounce house, freethrow contest, dunk tank, petting zoo at Diamond Trail Children’s Center with all proceeds to “Brighten Up Lynnville” campaign
  • 10 a.m. National Anthem sung by Macy Lanser in downtown Lynnville
  • 10:15 a.m. parade in downtown Lynnville, take your lawn chair, parade line up starts on Maple Street, Kiddie Parade starts at DTCC.
  • 11 a.m. storytime and kids craft at Lynnville Library for kids in grades 2-4.
  • 11 a.m.-1 p.m. lunch served by Sully Lions and Lynnville Chamber in front of city hall
  • 4-6:30 p.m. BBQ contest with free sampling and sides with magician at 7 p.m. at Old Settlers Park

Sunday, June 17, 9 a.m. community church service at Old Settlers Park, take your lawn chair.
