In the next few months, there are several great things happening in Sully. 1st Avenue will be paved. Central park will be getting the old playground equipment taken out and replaced by new. A stage/shelter will also be built on the south side of the park. The goals are to have the street completed by the end of May, playground equipment replaced by July 4, and the stage/shelter done by late summer.

All this is possible by some great contributions of money and volunteers. We will be looking for help with removing and building the playground equipment. So if you want to contribute some time, call Teryl Ver Ploeg or myself, and we will give you the times.

Another topic the city council is hearing a lot of is cats and dogs running loose in town. Just a reminder, your dogs and cats must be registered through the city and must always be in a fenced yard, on a leash, or tied up and never running loose. If animals are loose in the city, anyone can pick up these animals and owners will be charged to get them back after they have been registered. Thank you in advance for helping keep our citizens and visitors safe. Thank you also to the people working so hard to get playground equipment funded and volunteers set up to help.
