The Postal Service is soliciting community input through a survey sent to all Sully postal customers to help determine the best course of action for providing postal services to the community.  These surveys need to be returned by Tuesday, April 9 in the postage-paid envelope provided.

The Postal Service will examine the responses and local management will share the results of the survey, answer questions and solicit input regarding the time of day the Post Office will be open at a meeting to be held at the Sully Post Office on April 23, 2013 at 4:00 pm.

Unless the community has a strong preference for conducting a discontinuance study, the Postal Service intends to maintain the Sully Post Office with 6 hours of window service each weekday.  Current Saturday window service hours and access to delivery receptacles will not change as a result of the realignment of weekday window service hours.

Although survey results will be known and shared, the Postal Service will not make a final decision regarding this office until after the public meeting.
