altThe Lynnville-Sully football team traveled to BGM on Monday, Nov. 4, to take on the number-one ranked team in Class A, the BGM Bears, in the second round of playoffs. Determined, ready, and armed with a strong showing of supportive fans behind them, the Hawks took to the field. The score was tied early in the second quarter and the Hawks were within one touchdown, 14-7, when the Bears successfully faked a field goal that led to a touchdown. With a change of momentum by the Bears, the Hawks fought hard and never gave up but came up short, losing 35-7 and ending the 2013 season. The Hawks graduate 13 seniors and ended with an overall 6-5 record.
