A neighborhood meeting will be held at the Sully Community Center located at 318 Sixth Avenue on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. to discuss a proposed construction project which includes pavement reconstruction on First Avenue from First Street to Fifth Street as well as pavement construction on West Second Avenue. Objectives of this meeting include:

• Sharing of information regarding project development.
• Proposing probable timelines and construction sequencing.
• Informing residents of the area of what they can expect for disruptions and nuisances while construction is taking place.
• Providing a forum in which public input can be gathered regarding issues such as access, local drainage and other special needs which may have an affect on project design.

It is the City’s goal to complete this project as smoothly as possible through open communication and community involvement.
